Soccer Star Aaron Ramsey Increases Incentive for Missing Pet in Mexico to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has increased the incentive for leads concerning his missing dog Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
the dog, who vanished on October 9th, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer published a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of information about our pet Halo kindly contact us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return to our side shortly," Ramsey posted on Instagram.
Initial Reward and Heartfelt Pleas
The footballer initially disclosed that Halo had gone missing a fortnight back and has since posted multiple images of the adored pet on his social media account.
A £7,500 bounty was initially offered, but with lack of updates on the dog's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the sum.
"We just want Halo back," he stated in an additional appeal on social media after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
The latest image post is a monochrome snapshot of Halo sleeping, its head lying in the crook of Ramsey's arm, with the caption: "What I'd do to hold you again Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Background
The footballer has also circulated a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels saying they have several "pressing queries" surrounding the disappearance and fear the family "may never receive explanations".
"We still have not located our dog. I don't think we will ever," his wife's post read.
The Welsh skipper became part of Mexican first division team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his first appearance in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the initial high profile UK player to compete in the Mexican league.
