Real Madrid's winger Extends Sincere Sorry to Los Blancos Devotees
The forward has netted five goals in 10 La Liga matches during the current campaign.
Los Merengues winger Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to supporters for his conduct when substituted in the recent intense Clasico clash win.
He was taken off in the second half and expressed his frustration by going straight to the dressing room.
Vinicius later returned to the dugout and, after his side's 2-1 win, sought to engage the opposition's opposing player during unsavoury post-match scenes.
"This day I want to say sorry to all the Madridistas for my behavior when I was replaced in the big match," the player posted on social media.
"Similarly to I have already done during the latest practice, I would like to apologise again to my teammates, the team, and the leadership.
"At times passion takes over me because I always want to triumph and assist my club. My determined nature comes from the love I have for this club and each thing it symbolizes."
He joined Real from his former club in the year 2018 for millions and has scored 111 goals in numerous matches.
But his career in the La Liga is uncertain with speculation in recent months stating that Los Blancos would contemplate permitting the 25-year-old move on if they were to receive a appropriate bid.
When he was substituted on Sunday, cameras from network the service picked him up remarking: "Again me! I'm departing the side! It's better if I go, I'm moving on."
In his most recent statement on X, he said: "I vow to keep battling at all times for the good of Los Blancos, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
